Farewell to Staff – Mr Swartbooi and Ms Thomas

Mr Swartbooi’s Xhosa department meant girls have been involved in a number of extended activities. Under his leadership the Ubuntu Society flourished. Mr Swartbooi has been a kindly tutor and always had the welfare of ‘his’ girls at heart. We wish him well for the future.

Ms Thomas has been an enthusiastic Maths and EMS teacher, happy to be involved in many extramural activities: such as surfing, hockey, maths clinics, hostel duties, and outreach activities with sister school Zimasa. We wish her well for the future as she returns to the Eastern Cape and hope that she will retain her dedication to the teaching profession!
