So she poured out the liquid music of her voice to quench the thirst of his spirit. ~ Nathaniel Hawthorne
The Wynberg Girls’ Choir consists of learners from Grade Eight to Grade Twelve, and at the beginning of each year, all Grade Eights are invited to audition for the School Choir. The choir practises once a week in the afternoon, and other practices take place during the school day. Learners will occasionally be expected to attend extra rehearsals before performances. There is no cost involved, but parents are expected to provide transport for their daughters if the choir performs away from the school. There are several occasions where the choirs from Girls’ High and Boys’ High perform together as well as individually.
