The skill of developing a coherent argument to persuade another that your argument is the most cogent presented is a skill that can never be underestimated. Wynberg offers training in this important life  skill at two levels – there is both social and competitive debating where school enters the Rotary Debating League, from which provincial and national teams are selected. The society meets on Thursday afternoons between 15:00 and 16:00. There is a senior and a junior debating team for whom coaching is available.
