? Wow! She’s made the National Team again!

We congratulate Razaan Grainger on her selection for the South African National Majorette’s team for 2018. Before the trials, all the Western Cape girls who were eligible for selection spent a weekend training at the Bellville Velodrome with a Western Province Majorette & Cheerleading Association coach to prepare them for the event. The selection took place from 11-12 November at the Bellville Velodrome. It is the second time¬†that she has been selected. Last year she toured with the national team to Croatia, where she earned a gold medal for her solo mace performance at the Majorette World Federation Championship.
While we don’t have any photographs of the 2017 selection we do have a photograph of her from last year’s MWF Championship in Croatia; one with her Protea coach at the ceremony where she received her green blazer for the first time. and one of Razaan where the team enjoyed a well-deserved break at Disney Paris after the competition in Croatia. Team South Africa came home with a total of 9 Gold, 4 Silver and 5 Bronze in 2016. No pressure for 2017!
