In order to enjoy greater fellowship with other Christians at Wynberg Girls’ and Boys’ High School, Capstone hosted a bonfire.¬†Guest speaker, Mike Day shared his story around the fire about how he came to feel empowered through Christ. Everyone was highly motivated by his testimony and enjoyed further group discussions throughout the night.

Near the end of the evening, everyone was given a piece of paper to throw into the bonfire. On the piece of paper they could write anything that they wanted to cast off in their life. These included things that made them feel powerless and shackled.
The rest of the evening saw marshmallow roasting, worship and fun games.
