This week some of the cross country girls broke their personal best time and placing records, which shows the hard work and determination we’ve put in to our training these past few weeks.

Quailah Daniels improved her time by 3 minutes and came 13 positions higher than last week, putting her in the top 20. Mia Grace beat her time by 5 minutes, keeping her position in the top 10. Mikayla Gray went up 3 places and improved by 3 minutes. Rebecca Beardwood went up by 1 position putting her 13th in her age group. Both Cailyn Walker and Jordyn Willenberg improved by 8 places! And a special congratulations to Beth Goode who completed the 4km in just 16 minutes, placing 5th. With all these dramatic improvements it is hard to believe that the race consisted of tons of hills and loose sand, which really killed our legs, but obviously not our spirits.

In our fun Monday run in Groot Constantia, we were taken to the top of a never-ending hill, but this worthwhile view awaited us.

We are so proud of everyone for their fantastic improvements. Well done!
