Last week, the new leaders of Current Affairs were announced. Courtney-Jane Dykes is a member of the Current Affairs Committee and Nicole Botha will be replacing Claudia Harrison as Head of Current Affairs.

This week issues under the spotlight were shale fracking in the UK, the 2014 elections, the fact that Oscar Pistorius will be tried for murder in March 2014, the arrest of fake doctors in Nigeria and Prince’s new twitter account.
