Dance Society Showcase

Wow! Those who were not invited to the showcasing of the work of our Dance Society on 2 December missed something very, very special.

Ashley Wilton, her committee and the dancers in this society have worked towards this for a number of months, and their show – slick, professional and entertaining – left parents and teachers bursting with pride.

Invited guests were welcomed by the Occasions Team to a beautifully decorated hall and drinks and snacks which the Mount Nelson would not have been ashamed to serve as a high tea. The event signalled a celebration of disciplined, focused creativity. It was clear that this society has worked together: their respect for each other, their delight and pride in what they had achieved was evident in all of the performances, but particularly in the finale, which left the audience shouting for more. Every minute detail had been considered: there is some fine leadership and extraordinary talent in this society. We congratulate all who provided a wonderful evening’s entertainment.
