taking-pictures-is-savoring-life-intensely-every-hundredth-of-a-secondOn Friday,  19 February; the photography society started a new initiative called “Friday Fundamentals.” The program was started after we experienced a fantastic response of new members to the society – so many in fact, that we could not fit the entire group in one classroom.

The program aims to teach new members the “fundamentals” of photography. In our first session, we introduced the girls to the settings of DSLR cameras, something that many of the girls hadn’t known before. The lesson was a major success, leaving the girls feeling inspired and excited about photography. We intend to introduce a number of other topics such as composition and different themes within photography, but overall we have had wonderful feedback from the girls.

We are very excited for our next Friday lesson and eagerly await the improvement resulting from this course.
