Grade Eleven Life Sciences Outing

On Tuesday the 7th of August the grade 11 Biology learners set off for the Two Oceans Aquarium. Since there were so many of us they had to separate us into different groups.

We started out in the Education department behind the Aquarium, where we learnt the basics about some of the animals in the aquarium. We also were given the opportunity to see live animals such as starfish, sea urchins and anemones and to touch them (gently!). After that we walked around the aquarium answering the worksheet, taking in the beauty and variety in each tank and abusing the free photograph machine!

The Aquarium is always an adventure, no matter how old we are and a wonderful day was had by all!
