Hands-on ways of learning about cells creatively!

The Grade 10 learners were tasked with making either a cell cake, using a variety of sweets to distinguish things like the nucleus, cytoplasm, ribosomes and mitochondria, amongst other things.  The Grade 10’s got extremely creative using every type of sweet imaginable to create their cells. Here are some photos from Shireen Amien’s Life Sciences class who built cell cakes today .
