Juliette is needing to pinch herself as representing SA in an International Dance Competition draws near…

Last year Juliette Lindup competed in the SA Dance Stars competition and  won the CT finals with her Copelia repertoire. She is one of 6 girls from The Debbie Lindup School of Ballet that have  been invited to join the team representing South Africa at the Dance Stars World Challenge in Croatia at the end of May. It is a dance festival and international competition where all forms of dance are represented with a strong ballet section.  It will be a wonderful  opportunity for her to grow as a dancer and  also gain some valuable  life experience. She will travel with the SA team to Italy and Croatia.

It is hugely exciting and she, her family, her teachers and dance team have had a very busy time organizing, rehearsing and fund-raising. Juliette has been entered for a solo and a duet in the U14 A league and will be taking part in the CT Ballet Eisteddfod during the next two weeks, before leaving for Croatia on 20th  May and will be returning on Tues 7th June.

Well Juliette … you’ve got to know that your school is right behind you!
