Past Pupil returns as Guest Chef

Today Wynberg welcomed Mikayla Duminy back to the school as a guest chef. We were impressed to hear that she has just completed her course at the Capsicum Culinary Studio where she studied a 2 year International Chef Management Diploma which compromises of a Certificate in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts, a Diploma in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts, a Diploma in Patisserie and an International Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts. Apart from this very impressive list of accomplishments, she emerged as their top chef.

She rewarded her former teachers with a dish especially prepared for them: imagine the delight of the staff as we were served butter chicken canapés: coriander palmiers topped with butter chicken curry and fresh coriander

During the time that she was here with the learners (that same day) Mikayla demonstrated how to make Butter Chicken, Peanut Butter Chicken, Macaroons and Turkish Delight .
