Pet Food Challenge

At the end of of the first Term, the Service Pillar held the annual pet food challenge. Although it was a very busy term for the girls, they worked until the last few days of term to bring in a significant amount of pet food for the 2-week interhouse challenge.

This year’s recipient was the Domestic Animal Rescue group (DARG), which is based in Hout Bay. This organisation was chosen unanimously by the Service Committee because many of Wynberg Girls work as volunteers for them. As winter approaches, the pets tend to eat more food than usual. Considering that DARG relies on donations to care for these animals, the pet food came just in the nick of time!

Well done to Silverlea, who brought in the most pet food, then Kirsten and then Wellesley. Thank you for your contributions to Service!
