indoor hockey1st team indoor match vs Rustenburg:

On Wednesday the 10th of February, the first indoor team played against Rustenburg Girls’ High School at Fish Hoek High School.  With one sub on the bench and 1-0 down, the First Team made a strong come-back and had the upper hand with the score at 2-1. In the last few seconds of the game the Rustenburg team got a short corner and capitalized from this making the final score 2-2.

Both Wynberg goals were scored by Sasha Sivertson. First goal was great build up play from Chelsea Manoek who delivered a through ball to Amina Williams. There was great interplay between Sasha Sivertson  and Jamie Southgate
before Sasha picked up a rebound from a shot at goal and comfortablybeat the keeper. The second goal
was a Sasha specialty from a short corner – blasting the ball past the keeper.
It was an enjoyable game, but there is still room for improvement. The growth of the team has developed immensely and it will definitely keep on doing so.Player of the match – Sasha Sivertsen
