indoor hockey1st Indoor Hockey Team vs Rustenburg
This game was evenly contested as both sides were on the attack and both teams scored early. Our team looked settled and were playing some constructive hockey right up until the last 7 minutes when we made some crucial errors in attack and defence. This allowed Rustenburg goal-scoring opportunities, which they took advantage of and pulled ahead in the scoreline. As we pushed harder to equalise, there was more room for error and the Rustenburg team capitalised to beat us 1-3

2nd indoor hockey team vs Rustenburg.
The team was very keen for the match and went in determined to win. It was a hot afternoon but that didn’t bother the girls because it was the first home game of the season making it exciting for everyone.  The first half the girls played exceptionally well and held most of the possession tand score. In the second half the girls stepped up their game and converted 2 of the 4 short corners. Final score was 4-0 to Wynberg. Goal scorers were Hajira Lockhat (1), Skye Murray (2) and Laretia Espach (1). Well done to the entire team for their great effort. We will seek to continue this winning streak!

3rd Team Indoor Hockey vs Bergvliet
The Grade 8 team played against Bergvliet 1st team and, despite many scoring opportunities, was unable to capitalise. This cost them as the stronger Bergvliet players took advantage of some defensive errors and scored. We hope to be able to put a few more goals in going forward.
