waterpolo1Our afternoon of Waterpolo started off with a heavy loss from our u14Bs. The girls showed great heart, but were given a tough test from a team that included a few more experienced players. However, the the u14A Team countered this defeat with an impressive defeat of 5-1. Special mention to our new goalie, Jordan Laguma, who kept goals like a champ!

The third match of the day saw our First Team take an early lead in the game, but the victory evaded us in the last few seconds of the game as we lost 11-10 loss. The team should feel proud, however, as this is one of the best performances against a very strong Springfield team, and shows just how much our hard work is paying off.

Our u16As put their loss from last week behind them, and pulled out one of their best performances yet. They beat their opposition convincingly by 16-6 and it was great to see so many goals scored by our girls.

In the last game, our u19Bs played their hearts out. but despite their best efforts, were held to a 2-2 draw.

We had a action-packed afternoon of Waterpolo but also had so much noisy and influential support from our Spirit Team and supporters! Thank you to all the girls who stayed to watch the games and cheer our teams on and well done to all our Wynberg stars.
