Plastic bag freeIn a special assembly on 21 August,  the school was invited to be advocates of change in making our school a space which is free of plastic shopping bags (PSBs).  As this invitation was issued and accepted by the school, so a challenge was issued to the school to design the bag that our school would use in place of these shopping bags. Underpinning the move, is our effort to counter the convenience-loving, throwaway and unsustainable practices of our society. The Enviro club has arranged to have 500 reusable bags made up and are looking to you for some beautiful designs to print on the bags. Bags will be sold at cost price and its purpose would be to remind all

  • to use reusable shopping bags instead of PSBs
  • to consume less plastic where possible
  • to stop buying single-use items

We are inviting you to scan and email your designs to the Enviro Club or delivered, in an envelope, to the box that will be at reception.

Deadline: 08:00 on the 4th September 2017

The school will vote for their favourites, the top three will be printed and the designers will win a bag with their own design on it!
