Rondebosch Swimming Gala
After two weeks of Mrs Nel’s intense training sessions, the first Swimming Gala of the season kicked off with an impressive start. We were excited to welcome our new U14’s to their first gala as part of the Wynberg Swimming team, and wow did they impress us! They jumped off the diving block with their very first race of the day and emerged with a whopping 2nd place! Our competitors for the day were Herschel, Rhenish, Rustenberg, Springfield, Fish Hoek, St. Cyprians and Fairmont. The afternoon was filled with fun, great sportsmanship and an awesome spirit in the Wynberg team! After all the teams’ best efforts, Wynberg was placed 7th out of 9 teams with 3 points difference between us and the team place 6th! Well done to our fantastic swimmers! We have a good season ahead of us! Keep up the good spirit and hard training! The Wynberg team is ready to make it to the top!
