The Interact Society held a ”Senior Prom” to spoil the senior citizens at Murambi House, and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The society decorated the dining hall with colourful paper chains, posters and table decorations beautifully, which brought much-appreciated life into the room. Apart from the entertainment on offer part of the plan was to spend some quality time talking to the senior citizens.

The audience was entertained by some brilliant performances: there was some Indian dancing, violin playing and singing, and then an inspirational quote was read to end off the afternoon. One lovely lady was swaying her hands in the air to the music!

A little effort really does go a long way, and the senior citizens raved about the event, commenting that it was ”really beautiful” and ”amazing”. What a worthwhile and memorable event to end off the term!
