As a random act of kindness, the Silverlea house decided to make purple ribbons to remember all those who have been diagnosed with or have died from Leukaemia.  To add something special to the day, we distributed purple heart sweets to the girls.  We chose to hand out purple ribbons to not only create a sense of awareness about the cancer, but to also spread the colour purple amongst the school.   Parents around the school as well as our teachers were involved and they too ,wore their purple ribbons.

The response from the school was amazing and the girls were eager to get involved and support the cause.
