cape-town-holocaust-centerImmersion in the horrors of the Holocaust and the courage of survivors at the Holocaust Museum provokes sobering thoughts in our Grade 11 Learners.

The grade 11 history outing to the Holocaust Museum on Wednesday 18 October 2017 was an unforgettable experience. Our tour guides introduced us to the museum by showing us a short film on the origins  of the Holocaust. We were then taken around the exhibition, where guides explained the tragedy of the Holocaust in far greater detail. After a short break, we watched the moving testimony of a Holocaust survivor.

Henia, a Holocaust survivor, who is currently residing in Cape Town, visited the museum and was able to answer some questions the learners had. It was most certainly a memorable experience.
