NetballThe 2017 PGSGU Interschools’ Netball matches provided our U16A team with a little to learn from each game. While we were not guilty of repeating the same errors in each of the 5 matches we played, we did take home something to think about. Improvements on our ball handling, attacking and defensive movements as well as limiting the number of foot-faults are some of those things. Strengths in the matches we won were the result of excellent team work.

In brief the results were as follows:

Wynberg vs Rustenburg: lost 7-10 – Player of the Match, Alex Nicholson
Wynberg vs St Cyprian’s: won 6-5 – Player of the Match, Kelsey Theunis
Wynberg vs Springfield: lost 9-5 – Player of the match Gaby Raubenheimer
Wynberg vs Herschel: lost 6-10. Player of the match, Lana Fouten
Wynberg vs San Souci: won 16-1 – Players of the match, Lana Fouten and Jade Carlos
