Waterpolo: Wynberg vs Springfield

There was an excited atmosphere as girls headed to the pool to watch Wynberg play against Springfield on the 23 and 24 January.

All teams played thoroughly nail-biting matches and had the Wynberg and Springfield spectators as anxious as ever and their respective coaches, teams and spectators were bursting with pride.

The final scores for the day’s matches were as follows:

• Wynberg 1st Team: Wynberg won 8-0
• The Under 14B’s: Wynberg and Springfield drew 4-4
• The Under 14A’s: Wynberg lost 2-9
• The Under 16A’s: Wynberg lost 0-25
• The 2nd Team: Wynberg drew 5-5

A big thank-you to all the organizers of the afternoon and huge congratulations to all the girls who participated in the matches. You’ve made Wynberg extremely proud! As one spectators could be heard shouting very earnestly, “You guys are awesome!”
