WBHS Swimming Gala

This week’s gala, held at Wynberg Boys’ High School, was an individual gala ending off with a freestyle progression relay. Our opposition included four extremely strong swimming schools: Herschel A and B , Rhenish, Springfield A and B and Rustenberg .

Wynberg came 7^th place overall with the following age group results:

U14’s finishing 5^thU16’s finishing 7^thU19’s finishing 5^th

C Maile finished 7th in the 50m backstroke event

The top swimmer of the day was Faith Abrahams who was placed 3^rd in her 50m butterfly event.

Next week we look forward to the Annual A League Gala to be held at Newlands on Wednesday 15 February.
