GRADES
WELCOME TO OUR GRADE EIGHTS
After a three-day Orientation programme designed to familiarize Grade Eights with the school, they were formally inducted on 17 January at an official pledge ceremony where parents and Matric pupils were in attendance. As they were called on to the stage by their Head of House, each Grade 8 pupil received their pledge certificate signed by their principal, Shirley Harding, and were warmly welcomed by their Matric leader and Tutor teacher. Shirley Harding encouraged the Grade 8’s to consider what was written on their pledges carefully and to sign their names with the knowledge that they were officially taking their place as a Wynberg girl and honouring the code of behaviour as modelled in the Wynberg Way. In honouring their commitment the grade 8’s will receive a Wynberg pledge badge to symbolise this life long relationship.
