Wynberg learners and staff have generously supported Capricorn Primary School this term through not only a cash donation, but bringing bread and spread and/or making soup. In addition to being able to provide a loaf a bread a week for the especially vulnerable children we have been able to provide spread on at least two occasions this term.

The clothing drive we held earlier this term with Eco-Drive provided us with some additional funds as they paid us a nominal amount per 5kg of usable clothing.  This money along with donations enabled us to send a food pack for each of the 20 families to help see them through this cold and wet winter holiday.

Each family will receive:

• Jam 450g
• Sugar 1 kg
• Loaf of bread
• Rice 1 kg
• Tomato and onion mix 410g
• Cake flour 1 kg
• Samp and beans 500g
• Maize meal 1 kg
• Soup mix dry ingredients 5oog
• Tea bags (26)
• Packet of Chicken and Brown Onion soup

There will be many happier homes and full tummies this holiday.
