Wynberg Girls’ High 2016 academic results make us the top state school in the South Metro!

The class of 2016 have pulled out the stops. Outperforming all other state schools in the Metro South district, 95.4% of our matriculants obtained Bachelor Passes, and 4.59 Diplomas. With 100% of our 174 candidates passing, there were 331 subject distinctions and 40 of our candidates achieved 4 or more subject distinctions.  Of the 17 subjects offered, 10 obtained an average above 70% and 3 above 80% – a reflection of the quality of teaching at the school.

The top three candidates at Wynberg in 2016 were Aa’isha Dout (93%), Meg Anderton (92%) and Tasha Ainsworth (89.7%). We congratulate them and the following candidates who obtained four or more subject distinctions:
