Wynberg Girls’ High celebrates the 22nd consecutive year of a 100% pass rate

Congratulations to our Grade 12 learners of 2012, who achieved outstanding results in the 2012 NSC Examinations:

  • 171 Candidates – 3 incomplete results owing to illness
  • 168 sat the full examinations, 100% pass rate for the 22nd consecutive year
  • 157 (93.4%) achieved a Bachelors Pass
  • 300 subject distinctions (80%+)
  • 44 learners achieved 4 or more subject distinctions.
  • Of the 18 subjects offered, 16 obtained an average above 65%; 9 above 70% and 3 above 80% – a reflection of the quality of teaching at the school

Shirley Harding at the time of announcing the results said that this had been a wonderful group of matric learners. She was delighted that the Wynberg Girls’ High School matrics of 2012, who amongst them, obtained 300 subject distinctions and who have created the 22 consecutive-year record of a 100% pass rate.
