Wynberg Girls’ High wins “Top School” Award

The Metropole South Education District held a Matric 2011  Learners’ Awards Ceremony on Friday 27 January.  It was an exceptional afternoon for Wynberg Girls’ High School.  The District is divided into 7 Circuits and WGHS was named the Top School in Circuit 2 (this circuit includes schools who were named in the Top Twenty schools list of the WCED).  Three of our learners were placed in the Top Five of the Circuit: 2^nd (Elaine Petersen), 3^rd (Christine Forbes) and 4^th (Tessa Suttle). 

Ten of our learners were placed in the Top Twenty individual places in the whole district!
