Happy International Pi Day! This year's Academic Committee decided to do something a bit different for Pi Day, so instead of the usual Pi Recital, a cake decorating competition was held in the Aileen Currie Hall on Thursday, 14 March.

Each house had the opportunity to reveal their creativity - and their impressive ability to fit as many digits of pi as possible onto one round cake. The challenge was most certainly enjoyed by all of the girls involved - especially those who received a delectable slice of cake afterwards!

A big thank you to the Academic Committee for organising the event and acting as judges, and congratulations to everyone who took part. All of the cakes looked absolutely amazing. Regrettably, a challenge can have only one winner and so the results are as follows:

1. Silverlea
2. Waterloo
3. Cavanagh
4. Constantia and Wellesley
6. Kirsten
7. Copenhagen
8. Apsley
