On the Friday of 15 June, Wynberg Girls’ High Schools MSA hosted a fun day for more than 40 children from the Beitul Ansaar Children's Home in celebration of Youth Day.

The day was filled with fun. Each Wynberg Girl adopted a child for the afternoon and entertained them for the 3 hours that they spent with us. Together we took part in many interactive activities such as face-painting, soccer, twister, musical chairs and an obstacle course.

At lunch time our visitors were given burgers, juice and delicious cakes to eat, allowing them to a little time to catch their breath, and regain their energy.

To conclude the day, we had a number of  gifts to give to the children and a small donation for their home. In response, they sang a song for us drawing both tears and smiles from us.

From the point of view of the MSA, it was a fabulous afternoon!
